General Observations In The EUWP

Help with the never-ending Construction

The "Bruce Higgins Underwater Trails" system undergoes continual maintenance and enhancement. Each Saturday volunteer divers, lead by Bruce Higgins, meet at the park at about 9:00 in the morning to organize the days efforts. Additional help is always appreciated - just stop by and introduce yourself to Bruce. He has a reserved parking space at the northeast end of the parking lot. More information on the Egyptians and their efforts can be found at:

If you would like to help out, just show up at Underwater Sports in Edmonds at 9AM on a Saturday or Sunday. No buddy is necessary as the Egyptians will pair you with a regular volunteer. Divers helping in the park receive free air fills from Underwater Sports. For more information please click here.

Recent construction activities are focused in the northern parts of the park to encourage divers to stay away from the ferry dock and its associated no go zone. Some of the southern most features are being moved (repurposed) northwards.

Lopez Pontoon

The Lopez Pontoon is a huge structure that was added to the park in 2010. It is located to the northeast of the Triumph. Work at decorating the Lopez Pontoon continues with the addition of many small features on its top, sides and at its base.
